I am licensed as an LMSW and LADC and have 2 Masters degrees and have worked with seniors since 1993 in the field of mental health and addictions. When I retired i decided all my years of counseling should continue in areas that are most prevalent as we move into our later years. I offer help with issues that affect seniors as they transition into different age groups. These changes are challenging and demand adjustment both emotionally and mentally. Transitions seniors encounter such as retirement, failing health, change of living environment and change in status require processing and talking through. Grief and loss are interwoven with these changes and dealing with changing health in a loved one. This has helped the seniors I have already worked with as we cross each particular bridge together to the other side and land in a better place.
